Improv . . . For All The Right Reasons
For those of you in the Triangle area, make plans now to head out to DSI Theater this Friday night, November 18, for the 9:30pm Mister Diplomat show.
Mr. Diplomat performs the Armando longform improv style, which features one person providing stories and monologues, and the performers developing scenes based on those stories. This week, the monologuist is none other than the infamous Mark Jacobson of Mark Jacobson Toyota (formerly Toyota of Durham) fame. This guy is well-known by people in the area for his oddball car dealer commercials, so I know he’s going to have some great stories to tell. And there are rumors of prizes for people in the audience, too.
I won’t be able to catch the show, as I’ll be in DC for a Ruby on Rails class and shows with ComedySportz-DC, but I highly encourage anyone in the area to head out there and see the show.

Sorry I missed you; actually went to DSI theater this Saturday to see ComedySportz — had a great time!
I’d last seen a ComedySportz show in Milwaukee in… um… the 90’s? I’d totally forgotten about it until you mentioned it in your blog a while back.
